For over 15 years, the Walden West Leaders in Training (LIT) program has helped develop former campers into the role models we look for in our summer counselors. Following a
curriculum created by the Walden West staff, LITs will learn leadership skills and the basics of group management. Upon successful
completion of the one-week LIT program or with a recommendation from staff, LIT graduates may join the Counselor in Training (CIT) program the following year.
Session Hours - 9:00am - 4:00pm
$580 per participant per week

This is a wonderful experience that engages incoming 9th graders and prepares them to take on leadership roles as a camp counselor. CITs
learn how to administer games and activities and ensure the well-being and safety of all participants, while fully supported by Walden West staff. As they are immersed in play, CITs
will learn to apply the skills each game teaches to interactions with Walden West campers, staff, and each other.
Session Hours - 9:00am - 4:00pm
$580 per participant per week

June 12-16, June 20-23 (4-day $465), & June 26-30
