New Immunization Law Starts January 1st October 20, 2015 - 8:33am

Starting January 2016, new incoming students or those students transitioning from elementary to middle school will no longer be able to provide a personal belief statement or religious exemption for immunizations.

Under the 2015 Senate Bill 277, there is provision for “grandfathering” students who currently have a statement of belief or religious exemption until they reach their next vaccination checkpoint – kindergarten or 7th grade.  A licensed physician can exempt students from immunizations.

A Message from the Superintendent

Parents often ask me: “When will I find out the results of my child’s tests?”

Each year our teachers administer several assessments to determine student growth and inform their classroom teaching practice. These assessments—tests, quizzes, class projects, and the like—provide multiple ways to measure student progress towards learning the important concepts they need for success in school and in the community at-large.

The public is invited to have a say as Campbell Union School District updates its district-wide Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP is the District’s plan for using funds and being accountable for providing quality education to its more than 7,600 students in preschool through 8th grade.
