6th grade students receive innovation grant

Students met with the District Facilities and Construction department to plan for covered areas on campus.

When students were asked about a problem that they could solve on campus they identified the need for shaded areas to socialize during recess time. Recently, 6th grade students received a grant and met with our facilities and construction department to plan for this project. It is great to see and hear student voice in problem solving on campus while also working with district departments to organize and implement changes.
