Sherman Oaks Literary Pumpkin Contest

Sherman Oaks held their Literary Pumpkin Contest where students submitted projects of decorated pumpkins linked to a book they read

There were over 50 submissions for the Sherman Oaks Literary Pumpkin Contest this year. Students painted and decorated pumpkins to look like characters from a book that they have recently read. Categories for the contest included “Most creative” and “Most Funny” and also included submissions from families and staff. This contest served as a great connection between celebrating the holiday spirit and reading.
