The Sherman Oaks 3rd Annual Family Math Night took place on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024. It was a huge hit! Many of our families attended, played games, and took home prizes. Our amazing teachers guided families through playing a variety of math games in conjunction with the Julia Robinson Math Festival hosts.
Food 4 Thought brought us a Farmer's Market! They provided our students with a presentation about healthy fruits and vegetables and some “shopping” time so students could take home some goodies. Our students had a great time learning and taking home some healthy treats!
Thank you to all parents who attended our kindergarten enrollment tours! We enjoyed meeting you and showing you our campus and instructional program. If you were unable to attend or would like to learn more about our school, here is a slide deck with the information we presented. This informational pamphlet in English and Spanish also has information about our school.

Parent-teacher conferences are a vital part of a child’s education, especially at the elementary level. These conferences provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect with the teacher and discuss the child’s academic progress, strengths and areas for growth, social development, overall performance, and plan ways to support the student's academic success. Please make sure to schedule an appointment with your student's teacher if you have not done so yet. We look forward to partnering with you this school year!
Please join us on Thursday, September 21st, for Back to School Night from 5:45-7:00 p.m. On this evening, we will be introducing our teachers and staff, as well as sharing some of our school and classroom goals. We will have two sessions for you to visit your students' classrooms at the time that is most convenient for you. During these sessions, teachers will be sharing their academic and social emotional goals for the year, as well as ways in which you can support your student. Please take a look at our detailed schedule here. We look forward to seeing you there!
